We are thrilled to announce an exciting new addition to our orthopedic practice: Dr. Faye Kibler! Dr. Kibler specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. As we welcome Dr. Kibler to our team, we want to share a bit about her background, her approach to patient care, and most importantly, what this means for you—our valued patients.
Get to Know Dr. Kibler
When asked about her approach to patient care, Dr. Kibler explains “I approach patient care with an open mind regarding patients’ backgrounds, comfort levels, and preferences when it comes to treating their pain, or even just seeing a doctor in general. I’m aware that everybody’s recovery journey is, and should be, unique. With that being said, patient safety and quality of life are my top priorities.”
Dr. Kibler became interested in Rehabilitation Medicine after observing patients in underserved communities going into surgical procedures without fully knowing the spectrum of treatments available to them. She states, “I chose to subspecialize in Pain Medicine because I enjoyed “teaming up” with patients to pursue a goal together. I’ve also experienced firsthand how not understanding the cause of a pain or ache can really amplify it, and be very worrisome. This field is constantly growing and changing; it’s inspiring to help someone find where they can fit in and benefit.”
When she is not helping patients, Dr. Kibler loves doing anything outdoors in all the seasons that East Tennessee offers. She is very grateful to practice in the Knoxville community!
